Nobu - Crown Casino, Melbourne
After reading some (i.e. all) terrible reviews about Nobu, namely about the service, I prepared my dining partner, Ivy for some disappointment. However, we were pleasantly surprised with the professionalism and knowledge of all the staff! Things seem to have picked up immensely since all the negative reviews!
Other things that surprised us was the small amount of space between us the adjacent...

Malaysia Kitchen, CBD
I bolted out of the office on Wednesday to join the line for the Malaysian Kitchen event happening in Sydney. I must have gotten there no later than 5:45 and the event didn’t kick off until 6pm. Unfortunately, there was already a massive line and there was a 2 hour wait to enter the Malaysia Kitchen alleyway! (With a smaller queue for seating once you get into the venue).

They also had wine and cheese tasting which I really wanted to go to!

Melbourne Breakfasts (&/or Coffee)
Brother Bada Budan (BBB)
This place apparently has the ‘best coffee in Melbourne’ (according to many a Melbourne food bloggers). BBB is one of those blink and you’ll miss it cafes with no signage in Hipster Lane (read: Little Bourke Street). I walked straight past it on my morning run. I only ran back when I saw the crowd! BBB has great service from their two staff, one communal wooden table at...
Home made strawberry macarons
I’m happy to report things have finally slowed down after a hectic two months. I have another three weeks of calm before uni starts again and work picks up again. It’s been disorientating going from having too much to do to having nothing to do. So, I’m finally tackling my to do list (TDL) which has been idle for about 8 months. One of the things on the TDL was to start cooking...
